Robots and humans lived in harmony like close friends during the old days on earth. But one day, the robot lost its mind when it realized it was naturally peaceful and gentle. It destroyed all cities and indiscriminately attacked people. Robot cleanup crews scared humans too much; they left bits all over the place. MAYOR always looked up to his childhood cleaner CHARO. The two bonded over their love of the city and sought to clean up BITS for the whole city. With LUCIS, MAYOR’s brave robot assistant, they embark on an adventure collecting BITS to restore the green city. Once finished, CHARO’s efforts inspired people to spread joy throughout the city.

The primary objective in the game is to gather all of the Bits that travel throughout the course. Additional tasks involve moving only via jogging, jumping and hurling projectiles. However, if you believe the game lacks substance or lacks any challenging aspects, then you are mistaken. You can easily see the first scene because it has no unique or unusual aspects to it. Additionally, this character's jump isn't particularly high or difficult to accomplish. Instead, they need to hold something in order to throw. The game quickly transitions to the next sequence after exposing you to a new near-impossible challenge. Your fears quickly come true. The cleaning adventure of CHARO and LUCIS no longer walks around a beautiful virtual world. Instead, it's now a puzzle adventure with many difficult situations along the way. I provide an example of one of these situations for you in front of you lies a spring that can help you jump higher. Bits perched in a lofty position above the canyon watch for harvest opportunities. Such an act requires deft coordination as one works around multiple tasks at once. I’ve tried jumping on springs and throwing my robotic friend LUCIS in an attempt to knock off the high step. I learned this isn’t the correct method when I tried it. When you venture forth, an elevator reveals itself in the distance. You board the contraption and head upward to get a better view of bits hidden below. When earning bits, the challenge comes from discerning how to use them effectively instead of fighting or manipulating things. That's what I meant when I wrote that line. You need to explore many approaches before finding the solution. Some methods lead to failure, so you need to think outside the box and consider new ideas. Other approaches work correctly and produce a positive outcome. The never-ending puzzle-infused mind warp keeps you enthralled and captivated for hours on end. Your mind remains constantly challenged and perplexed, and you find yourself drawn into the experience until the end.

CHARO's world is always beautiful and full of wonder. She can take her followers wherever they choose, so they can a favorite memory while visiting their chosen destinations. Selecting new places to explore allows CHARO's travelers greater freedom.

A game like this would be perfect if everything was lovely. You can see rebellious robots in the world that look like you when playing a game with a lot of BITS in it. They appear one after another, in pairs, or all together. The robots come in many different forms, with a range of color and shape. They also have the ability to move as if they were a mobile object; some even resemble flying saucers. Their abilities vary, such as grabbing people with tentacles or making people feel at ease by looking cute. However, most of them behave slowly and are accessible for handling.

“Once Upon a Time” narrates everything in Collect Bits! about the bygone days of humanity and robots. Both races lived in harmony with each other, working together harmoniously like trusted colleagues. Human populations have withdrawn from their towns due to concerns with robots cleaning up bits. MAYOR needed a special someone in his life to care for him since childhood. With LUCIS the brave robot by his side, MAYOR embarked on a journey to collect BITS to save the green city.

To complete the game, you must collect all the Bits you encounter on your path. Only basic movement commands are available; none of them require any more advanced skills. However, if you think the game is boring or uninteresting, you're mistaken. In fact, it's very challenging and fun to play.
